For my major, I have to take an "speech" class (I assume you make speeches). The thing is, I am a horrible public speaker and get totally nervous. Do most colleges offer this as an online class? Are there any degree programs that do not require a "speech" or "oral communications" class? I try to avoid speeches as much as I can in school. (link)

It all depends on what college you go to. Some college might offer this as an online course, but others wont. I wouldn't change your major just because you are scared to give speeches. Try talking to the professor, or the schools counselor/psychiatrist. I used to have the same problem as you, and my professor told me that you need to prepare your speech ahead of time and practice it over and over and over. You should also sit in a quiet room and visualize yourself giving the speech. Visualaize EVERYTHING... how the room looks, the people sitting there watching you, what you are wearing, an what you are saying. Visualize yourself giving the speech, doing amazing and not getting nervous. When you do get in front of the room, take some deep breaths and remember what you visualized. It really does help.

My 7th grade class is going on a school trip to Lake Compounce in Conneticut. It is on June 16th and (this may sound weird but...) I want to GO with someone (as in a DATE) I am not sure what to do. Should I drop hints, or ask? Ask one of ym guy friends and tell them I want to go as friends? Or tell them it is a date? Please help!
Also although we usually have a dress code we can wear w/e we want (I am going to wear a bikini under my clothes) but I am not sure what to wear. I want to dresss attractively, but not sluty.
