i just died my hair to a dark brown..my original color is light brown and it looked verry pretty for the first few days..well now it's about a week later and my hair has gotten a lot lighter and the color is fading already! the dye we used is garnier and it said it was perminant...so any advice on a different brand or anything! i want to find hair dye that will last a lot longer than that! Honestly any hair dye that you use will fade and get brighter. It actcually depends how often you wash yout hair. The more you wash your hair the lighter the color becomes. That was also my problem. I tried nice and easy, garnier, dark and lovely and perfect ten and they all did the same thing. You should also go to your local hair salon to see what they would recommend.
