Hi all,
Recently I put on a good 10kgs (unfortunately) therefore also rendering most of my wardrobe useless.
I am now working out and have already dropped a kilogram but am not enjoying this mid-state of not really having anything to wear.
Whilst I was still in shape I would often wear slightly baggy tops (but flattering on my figure), blouses, etc with fitted jeans and then whatever footwear.
Right now I'd naturally not wear skin tight tops, and at the same time, certain oversized shirts make me look even bigger.
So, my question is does anybody have some outfit ideas or suggestions (Or even looks created on polyvore or similar) that would be suitable for a slightly overweight figure?
Since it's still chilly where I live, I would like it to be jeans based.
My basic footwear goes from boots to flats, depending on the weather, a pair of white low-top converse and a pair of girlie Vans.
When it comes to tops - I am quite casual but still feminine/pretty (i.e not just band shirts or hoodies..)
I would really appreciate some outfit suggestions that don't accentuate the extra weight but still work with it. As we all know, confidence is essential and I want to feel good about myself again, especially as I am working off the extra weight! Right now I find myself reaching for the plain black tops in my wardrobe which do nothing for me :( (link)

Great job working out to feel better about yourself!
I am a bigish girl myself and my weight goes up and down like crazy! my best advice? Jazz it up! have fun, try layers and scarves, use a neck scarf as a belt! Who knows who cares, laugh and play with your clothes, try on everything and mix it up.
If you have some skirts or pants or shirts a little too big it is really easy to add a "dart" in them to tighten them a little, it is also easy to let the dart out if you need them big again ..
( a dart is a fold in your clothing held in place by one or two small stitches)
Also no one ever said you can't wear a skirt over a pair of jeans in the winter time.
Or a kick ass pair of socks. No one cares what else you wear if you are rocking a skirt with a pair of crotch high neon striped socks!
Bottom line, they are only clothes, you are still you in a paper bag or a flawless fitted ball gown. Have fun with what you wear and BE COMFORTABLE!

My partner and i have had unprotected sex recently. She has been on the bcp portia for 2 weeks, and we were scared so we bought the plan b and she took it the day after (approximately 11 hours later). She has also been told by her doctor that she has only a 20% chance of getting pregnant (w/out birth control) due to previous internal bleeding. My question is are we safe from a pregnancy? I have read that both birth control and plan b together have a high percentage of non pregnancy...but i just really need some help! Please. We are both 17 i am male she is female. (link)

Fist of all. Calm down. You are panicking and that is not helping. She went to the doctor, all you can both do now is wait. Stay calm. And remember how this terror feels so that you are careful and use a condom from now on.

A while back I had a pimple right between my eyes on my nose. Well since tomorrow was school and all, I popped it. Since then I've had a tiny flat red dot on my face and you can't feel it, but it's quite visible. I wash my face everyday and other remedies but it's not working. Is there anyway to get rid of it? It's driving me insane! Thanks for reading everyone and please share your opinions with me!:) (link)

It is most likely just a scar, i got them (and still do some times) lots of times. Here are some tips.
1: Don't be rough when you wash your face, use mild soap, rub gently and wash it in the morning and before bed. Over washing will dry it out, this will make sensitive scar tissue WORSE! Scar tissue fades with time.
2: Dab a little vitamin E on it before bed (be careful, its thick like honey and a bit messy but does WONDERS for scars and dry spots.) Make sure it is REAL vitamin E ... not just some cream with it in it. Real vitamin E is costly (about $13 a little bottle in the vitamin section of your local drug store.) Or you can get the tabs and just break one open. In fact if you do get the tabs you can take 1 daily, this will help with break outs down the line... you should see your skin get better in about 4-6 weeks. Also added bonus good at stoping arthritis in 40 years ;)
3: Water. Drink it. LOTS OF IT!
4: If your skin is oily MOISTURIZE! Trust me, it seems like a contradiction but your skin will stop over making its own oil and you can then control when your skin gets it... like right after a hot shower and washing your face, so less nasty dirt gets in your skin.
5: RELAX ABOUT IT. No one at school is looking as much as you think. Everyone there gets them. Its no big deal. If some one says something, laugh about it, say you are growing a unicorn horn.
6: once again scar tissue fades with time. Relax and give it time. some of my bad ones lasted a month or so. avoid make up unless its picture day, the more junk on your face the worse it will be and the longer it will last.
7: Don't touch your face unless you JUST washed your hands. ;)
Good luck, stay strong and remember: Its fine, you look awesome and if you don't GREAT! that means you are still you without the superficial shallow beauty and perfect skin. But you still look awesome ;)
