ok, i know i shouldnt be jealous but my sister gets her way on things , like getting something to eat or drink and my mom makes it for her and brings it to her. plus when im sick my mom doesnt care she only cares about my sister , everything is about her. my mom never spends time with me ( even on my birthday or other holidays)i wish she would care about me too .

First off, let your mom know how you feel. Tell her that you would really appreciate if she would spend more time with you. Try not to focus too much on telling her that she's spending too much time with your sister though because this will probably make your mom get defensive. That might be just how it is with my mom though.. but who knows. If talking to her doesn't help, try doing things to make yourself stand out. Do things around the house that you know your mom would notice and that she might praise you for. Maybe that'll get her attention. Good luck..

I have just recently painted my walls a pale yellow, and my ceiling shit green. I carpeted the house with pink carpeting, and now I'm having trouble choosing a color and material for my curtains. I'm thinking neon orange...but I'm not quite sure. Please say you can help!

i have a friend whos mom hits her. she says it doesn't hurt but it leaves bad bruising. i dont want her to grow up and hit her kids and im really scared for her. what should i say to her? (link)

Well, if this friend says that these hits don't hurt, she is trying to protect her mom. That would either be because she truly loves her mom and doesn't want her to get her in trouble, or she doesn't want her mom to find out and get more angry and hit more (which is more likely). I think you should really talk to your friend about it and let her know that you're there for her. We all know that it's best to tell an adult about these things, but sometimes that's not true.. it can lead to even worse problems. So like I said, let your friend know you want to help, and make sure she knows that what her mom is doing is NOT right, no matter what her mom says or how she acts when she isn't angry.
Let me know what happened after you talk to her and maybe I can help out a little more from there.
