Is it safe to wear a tampon to sleep in? I'll probably sleep around 9 hours tonight .. I'm just not sure if that's safe (TSS). If I wear a pad, it usually leaks and gets on my shorts im wearing to bed. What should I do? (link)

I always leak at night on my heavy days too. And I use the biggest overnight pad with wings there is. If I am sure I will be sleeping less than eight hours, I will use a tampon and a pad. Otherwise, it's better to leak than risk dying from TSS.
