I don't know what to get my mom for mother's day I don't have any money to buy her anything this year and I don't know how to cook so it's not like I can cook supper for her and my mom is allergic to almost everything that is scented so I don't want to go that route either. Does anybody have any ideas? oh and I did the coupon book for her last year you know homemade coupon books . (link)

Write her a poem or a letter telling her what she means to you. It's the thought that counts right. You could also give her a day off from doing chores and do them all yourself. That mean more to her than a box of chocolates :)

-I'm 13
-I'm a fine-haired light blond
-I have blue eyes
- I have a triangular-ish face
- and I wear huge glasses :p (I swear I'm not lying!)
A lot of people say I should get my hair cut in a pixie, but I'm afraid the guys will think I look boyish and ugly. :( and that some of the girls might call me lesbian :(( (I'm not, by the way)
any advice?
Ps: this website needs a fashion column (link)

Keep your hair at the length you're happy with.. It you can afford it have it professionally streaked a light brown and it will look great on you. Have your hair in layers and above shoulder length . It will add character.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for over 5 years. We are in our late 20s. I have an 7 year old son from a previous relationship and they get along great. My son even views him as a father. That is not even close to being an issue with us. Currently we can not go a month without having some petty blown up arguement. Wether it is about whats for dinner to who is going to drive. I have a very short temper when it comes to him and i dont know why.He can look at me wrong and it will put me in a bad mood. When i try to talk to him about why I may be short and rude at times to him it causes a whole other can of issues. Currently he is in school and will be graduating soon. I have been caring the weight of majority of the bills and also taking my son to and from school, practices, friend's house etc. I dont feel appeciated and slightly feel taken for granted. He will rebuke any of that and throw out examples of what he does to help, (picks up our son (occasionally), does dishes, and may make dinner a couple time a month) Please help! how can I commmunicate to my boyfriend that i feel this way without him being upset??? He is a man after all. Any of this hits his manhood/man pride. (link)

When you start doing more than you can honestly handle, it takes a tole on your mood. I highly believe communication is the strongest survivor technique in a relationship so please talk to him about what's going on with you. I know he can't help that he's in school and soon he won't be and will be making a better contributor to the household. Especially with a child it ain't easy and hats off to you. He sounds good to me, being active in your child's life. It'll get better just now things are challenging and hopefully that's all you got to go through in your life.

I am an 18 year old female, freshman in college. At my school, probably like every other school, we have this facebook page for you to go on and anonymously post who you think is cute or who you would like to date. Well, in my english class all year, I thought this kid was cute, I catch him looking at me sometimes but that's it. He's very shy, he doesn't talk much in class, matter of fact-I don't either, though really. Anyway, I posted on the facebook page, though and said that I think he is very handsome and that I would date him in a heartbeat. He commented back and said "come forward person who posted this." So, I was thinking about waiting until the last day of class and I was going to message him and tell him that it was me or something along the lines of "okay, I'm coming forward." I want to do it the last day of classes, which is May 17th by the way, because we have a twelve week summer. In case he doesn't feel the same way, I won't feel like an idiot sitting in class knowing that he knows and knowing that he said no. Plus the summer will give him time to think, he'll be able to message me if he wants. But, I'm kind of a chicken and I'm not sure if I will be able to do it or not. So, I guess I'm asking for guys and girls alike for their opinions. Would you want me to tell you? Would you think I was weird? What would you do? Thanks! (link)

Go for it! Life's too short to be hiding behind the bush just to look kool. This guy (if he's intelligent at all as much as he's good looking) will think wow this chic digs me sweet! If he's stuck up and laughs at you then he's a jerk and you're not the weird one HE WILL BE. As I've learned, honestys the best policy and you'll feel much better when you admit it was you, regardless of how he chooses to act on it. Good luck! ;)

Why does my dad hate me, and how can I get him to love me? (link)
|
It may seem that he hates you but deep down your his child and he knows that. I'm not sure of your situation so I can't really give you a straight forward answer. I only can say you should stand up and talk to your dad about your feelings and see what he says and I hope he is as mature with you as a parent should be with their child. My email is christinac1986@gmail.com
Communication is key! The only way to solve problems cause you don't know how he really feels and he probably doesn't know you have these feelings toward them. Email me if you want more help with this. I'll be more than happy to help. Take care. ;)
