2. it will cost alot of money and i dont come from a rich family.

It is such a great accomplishment that you are now allowed to take the pointe class. For me, I'm 15 and have been dancing for 12 years now ever since I was 3, and have been taking our pointe class for about 3 years now. I also play volleyball year round, (playing club, going to tournaments, the works!) So for you to take dance classes AND play basketball is absolutely possible. You just have to know how to manage your time well, find time for homework, etc. Some good ideas are to do your homework in the car on the way there, and on the way back from your dance classes. Also, homework now comes before your social life!!! School should be very important to you, and thus, its necessary to manage your time well in order to stay up to date.

I also do not come from a rich family, and I can assure you that it IS possible for you to take the classes. The pointe shoes, depending on where you buy them, cost around 90 dollars, and should be replaced when they become extremely worn out. I've run through about 6 or 7 pairs already. Sure the shoes can get quite expensive, but if dance is something that is really important to you, which I can tell it is, then when there's a will, there's a way!!

Hope I helped!
