advice

How can I get motivated to start getting in shape and eating right? I don't have a lot of time to work out outside of school, but I play lacrosse, and I have practice 2 hours everyday so that gives me a pretty good work out. But I still overeat, and I don't know what it'll take to finally make the decision to stop it. Nothing seems to get me going. Any ideas?

well speaking as a male who was previously overweight, and overate, i would say the biggest thing that motivated me was a real want to not only see my grandchildren but be able to play with them, the same way i play with the kids i babysit. i think that was my main goal in loosing weight. and honestly it was not as hard as i thought i was. all i did was stop eating to the point of being full. i didnt starve. but i also started making myself get up in the morning and stretch. one year ago i was the fatt kid in my class, now i'm still big, but i am so much more flexible and i can even do a backbend. you know the thing the cheerleaders do. yea, i was 5'9 and 250lb, now i'm 220 and 5'10, and flexible. your right the biggest thing is motivation. and i hope i've given a little to you.
