I've heard and read about this thing called JAMA. I've only heard asians talk about it. What is this JAMA thing? _(link)

JAMA also stands for the Journal of the American Medical Association, where a lot of important medical research is published. Maybe that's what you heard about? Did you hear Asian doctors or researchers talking about it? What was the context? Be careful about generalizing about any group of people.
