Alright, first, i am sorry if this is really long but i have a lot to say. Okay, well i like this guy and he "supposedly" liked me. All my friends say he does. Also, he knows i like him. (we "talked" for a week over the summer.) Anyways, tonight i went to a party and he was tickling me and hugging me and picking me up...etc. Well, all my friends (which is a lot) told me they think he likes me because of the way he acts around me and he even told my friend he liked me. At the end of the party, my friend asked him if he liked me and he winked at her and came up to me and gave me a really big hug. He was like "I'll see ya later, bye!" Then, after the party my friend told him that i really liked him and he told her not to tell me but he was "talking" to someone else I mean, i even admit, he was flirting with me at the party and then he just tells my friend right after that he likes someone else and not to tell me. He kept saying to her "Don't say anything, i don't want her to know." I don't get it, i mean he told my friend he liked me a week ago and was flirting at the pary and now he is "talking" to someone else.
I really don't think he is a player. He really is a nice sweet sensitive guy and he dosen't have a "bad" reputation. I am so confused! He is always really nice to me and everything. I mean, all my friends were telling me that they hear he likes me. My questions are,
1. Why is he doing this?
2. Does he like me and the other girl or just her?
3. What do you think?
4. What do i do and how do i act around him now?
5. Should i still flirt or should i lay off?
Thanks!

Alright, so I think what you're saying sounds exactly like what happened to me this year. I had a guy friend that began flirting with me and we even hooked up. Which, I found out later was a bad idea. I know he seems sweet and sensitive or whatever, but he may think that he's sly enough to try and get two girls at the same time. He's probably doing this because he's trying to see what he can get away with. By that I mean he thinks he can have a thing with two girls at the same time. He might like both of you, but I don't think it'd be worth it to wait and find out because you may end up getting hurt. If he thinks he can get away with it, then I wouldn't seem too flirty around him. Make yourself seem hard to get, but not mean by avoiding him. Still flirt, but don't act like he's the only guy in the room and you can't flirt with anyone else. Trust me, if he really likes you, then he would do whatever it takes to get your attention and wouldn't want to hurt your feelings. Hope this helps!
