Hi All
I started taking birth control in January, my periods stayed consistent, every 27 days. In May I had a sickness bug that lasted up to a week so I didn't take my pill the whole time (I wasn't sexual active at all so I knew I wouldn't get pregnant) I started to take the pill again about 2 weeks later after I came on my period again.
My question is could my periods have changed since I stopped taking it for 3 weeks? For example, may I now come on my period sooner than before (like every 25 days/or more) or will it just stay the same as last time? My friend said missing the 3 weeks could have messed it up a little.. (link)
well the pill itself messess with your hormones so if you are having the pill on a certain day for a long period of time you will have a slight slip up in your "usual cycle" and start a slightly different cycle
