ok i know this is really random and sounds stupid, but whenever my mom eats, she doesn't eat with her mouth closed. this really bothers me because it looks and sounds really disgusting, but none of my other family members seem to notice. how can i tell her, politely, that i think it's disgusting and she should stop (because she does it in public too!)

My mom does the same thing. The first time I brought it to her attention, I had made breakfast. She started chewing and I could see every bit of what I had just cooked in her mouth, and was about to puke. So I just said "I'm never cooking or washing dishes again if you don't close your mouth while there is food rolling around in it". I didn't get yelled at. Mainly because she knows I think it's disgusting and have a week stomach at times. I mean, you could put it in better terms.
