Ok when a guy proposes and gives a girl a ring, does she get him an engagement ring too or does he just get the wedding ring? How does this work?

I don't think guys expect it but it's a nice gesture. I'll probably get my boyfriend an engagement ring someday when we get to that point in our relationship. I think it's become by more common but it just depends on your guy too.

iam 14 and in the 9th grade and I want to do more than just hug and kiss my boyfriend.Is there any other things that i can do besides hug and kiss my boyfriend?I know that there is sex and iam going to do that if that's the only other thing i can do i just want to get closer and if i do have sex iam already on birth control becouse of my messed up period and iam going to use protection.what can i do besides hug and kiss my boyfriend? Please don't have sex until you are both emotionally prepared and if you have any doubts, then you are not ready. It's a big decision. There are things you can do besides sex like dry humping which is like having sex but with clothes on. If all you have done is kiss and hug, you can experiment with just taking one or two pieces of clothes off and explore each other with your eyes or hands. Kiss each others neck, shoulders, back, stomach...it doesn't have to go farther than that. Don't rush because this is how you can get to know what each other likes and dislikes.
