does baby oil help you tan? _(link)

But people in the 60s used baby oil as sunscreen! not tanning oil. and pretty much everyone in the 60s was tan. does re-applying baby oil regularly help preotect your skin, while still tanning it?

FUN FACT: people in the 30s 40s and 50s used pudding for sunscreen. my great-grandma told me so :P
