Ok well i am going through the EXACT same thing!! If i were her i would tell him how i feel and if he really dosn't feel the same way then you should just let a little time pass. . . try telling him how you really feel and how much you want to be with him

Well i think light purple wiuld be really cute make sure your cieling stays white tho. . . but if its light purple i wouldn't do bright pink--> sorry if its not a good answer i am not really a home decorater lol
