I wanna go get my tongue pierced but im scared that its going to hurt real bad..is it going to hurt??? what does it feel like??? Im 19 but another thing is if my mom finds out she'll be really really really upset and mad at me and i think i might be kicked out of the house...is there anyway i could hide it from her????? Yes it's going to hurt, you're having a needle stuck through your tongue after all. The good news is, it doesn't hurt really bad, usually just stays sore for about a week. As far as trying to hide it from your mother, that's not a very good idea. Yes you are 19 and legally an adult, but wanting to hide it from her (instead of sitting down and explaining to her why you would want it done, and showing that you know all the risks involved), shows a certain level of immaturity. After sitting down with my mother and explaining my "unique" sense style to her, and the reasons for it, I was lucky enough to be met with much understanding. The same may work for you, at least try to sit down and discuss it with her first. And if/when you do go to get the deed done, go get a slurpee afterwards! Trust me, it's really great for the pain.
