Sorry 'bout your dad mate. Talk to your friend in person and tell about everything that's been happening lately. Try and schedule some time fo you to hang in a few weeks to give you time to grieve. If she's still pissed I'd drop her from my friends list because she obviously wasn't that good of a friend.

Well for one thing, don't sneak out and do it behind her back. Especially in a public place. Some could see you run back and tell and you would be busted (I know, trust me). Talk to her about it and try to show her that you're mature enough to make out with someone. Not to mention you should introduce her to your boyfriend or whoever it is you want to make out with.

Don't use pickup lines. If you ask me, they seem to say "I can't come up with my own material." Talk to him about things you both like (sports, music, movies etc.). Well since you both don't know what to talk about just start up a conversation. Ask him how his day went or how his summer's going.
