Okay, I'm in high school and I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my future. Psychology has always fascinated me, so I was thinking what I could do with a degree in that field.

Now, I've had a friend who was depressed and suicidal and a niece who was abused as a toddler and now has some mental issues from it. So I really want to help and work with children and teens in those types situations by giving counseling and maybe even diagnosing disorders and things like that.

I was wondering what job would allow me to do that, what I'd have to do in college for it, if psychology's worth taking and things like that.

Any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

You would want to go into Psychology/Psychiatry.
The only difference being that Psychologists act more as therapists while Psychiatrists can prescribe medicine and diagnose problems. As for how.. I believe you need a PhD (doctorate) in Psychology. To be a Psychiatrist you will need to go to Med school, go through residency and all that fun stuff.

Hi my son 2 years old cut his tongue when he was trying to go down on our bed it was accidentally bang his head in our bed frame I thought it was his head soar but when he start crying his mouth is bleeding then I found out that he got cut on his tongue, is there any thing that I need to give him to at least lessen the pain because he can't it anything now coz of the cut in his tongue? (link)
You'll be happy to hear that mouth related injuries heal relatively quickly-at longest it will take overnight. As for the time being I would give him foods that won't hurt his tongue and don't need much chewing.
For instant relief have him suck on an ice cube, this will also ease the bleeding.
Hope this helped,

Last semester I barely received a C but I want to change levels this semester for this science class. I am becoming very stressed and I am always catching up with the rest of peers, even understanding targets the night before a test, that is if I understand it. I know I'm going to fail this semester because I am already doing bad and already too late to catch up with the rest of the class. Should I not be in an honors class? The pressure is too much and it is causing me to not be myself in everyday activities, including my behavior with my family and/or friends. I know it is better for college, to be in an honors class and persevere rather than change to a regular class but it is becoming too much for me to handle. (link)
I suggest that you take a course you can excel at. If its not honors for this science course then you should switch to regular. Challenging yourself is one thing, but don't kill yourself for a B or C when you could easily be getting straight A's or B's in a regular class. While it's true that colleges like to see honor courses on your transcript, it's not worth taking it if you can't keep up with the material. To be honest, it's actually braver to say you can't handle something then go through with it. I switched to regular math this semester and I feel a hell lot better.
Hope this helped,
Hisaru
