ok, every time i shave under my armpits, i get painful bumps that last for at least a week after i shave. and my armpits get itchy and sore. also, now, it hurts when i try to shave. i don't understand why because i lather before i shave.
so how do i stop the bumps?
my razor is pretty old (like..6 months+), might that be the problem?
btw, this only happens on my armpits, not on my legs. (link)

Under arm hair is best removed with a depilatory cream [VEET/NAIR] not razor shaving.
You should first heal the existing bumps before shaving again. If you shave over your inflamed bumpy skin - the condition will get worse.
You should get the BUMP ZAPPER Severe Bumps Kit [from BREEJ Technologies - www.bumpzapper.com] available online @ CVS.com or @ Bumpzapper.com. The product will resolve your problem in 24 - 48 hours.
If you order the product from Bumpzapper.com, you should request that the Alcohol based ASTRINGENT CLEANSER [the BUMP ZAPPER Severe Bumps Kit has two products in it] be replaced with a second bottle of the Alcohol Free HEALING LOTION]
Once you irritation is gone, you can resume shaving your underarm with a depilatory cream. After each shave, apply the BUMP ZAPPER HEALING LOTION to the shaved area.
