Hey everyone! I am Katherine. I am a girly girl and I know a lot about sex and relationships. I am not going to be all preachy. Lol. I will tell you the truth, but I will do it nicely. You can ask me stupid questions if you are sincere, meaning you seriously don't know what to do. I will give you my female opinion. Lol. And I am currently homeschooled but I just started that this year. Before that I was in a regular school. I've been to both private and public schools, large and small. I consider myself to be very well rounded and I will probably know first-hand what some of you guys and girls are going through. If you have any questions or want to talk to me you can IM me on AIM/AOL anytime. I am online a lot. Thank you!

do Remington's revolutionary new Wet2Straight straightners ruin your hair? UK (link)
|
No hair straightener is particularly good for your hair, but they won't cause any noticable damage. I have been straightening my hair almost everyday for 3 years now, so it's not enough of a problem to cause me to stop. But they all cause some damage. I don't know anything about that specific straightener, but I can't imagine it is any different from the others. Keep in mind though, even on the ones that are made to use on wet hair, it will cause a burning smell when you use it on wet hair.

You do not need to bring anything. They will only ask your first name. It is strictly confidently if you are age 16 or over. If you are under 16 they will still treat you, but they will turn your name into CPS and your parents might get a phone call. Depending on what you are going in there for (whether it be for suspected pregnancy or STDs) they will take you back and do what they can. Obviously they can read a pregnancy test right there and let you know. They then will probably have a talk with you about sex and sexual activity. They might even give you a Bible. Do not be afraid. They are very kind and won't treat you like a slut or anything.

Okay, I'm 16 years old and I've been getting my period for a really long time. Ever since I started getting my period, I've had a really, really heavy discharge between periods. It's really uncomfortable and I feel like it's abnormal. I literally have to wear a pad between periods because my discharge is so frequent. Is this normal, at my age, or is it something I should tell my gyno?
Thank you in advance. (link)

Discharge is totally normal as long as it is not some strange color. Some females naturally get a lot of discharge. It wouldn't hurt to mention to your gyno, but it's probably not an issue.
good luck!
