I have had the opportunity to learn from some amazing people throughout my life. I was raised on a ranch and have small town common sense, and real want to help people. Ask me a question and I will try my absolute best to try and help. Have a great day.

I'm 16/f and not all that great at singing. I'm okay but I want to get better. I want to try out for my school's show choir, and the try outs are early this year like in the next few weeks. I need some good tips on what to do, how to sound better. Anything from anyone who knows what they are talking about will be helpful. (link)

well I'm a music major, but I get really nervous during auditions, the best thing to do is pick a simple song, one you are comfortable with and something that you feel confident with. Show them your personality and be willing to do anything, work hard. Smile, be proffesional, and remember that each audition only helps you get better. Oh yeah make sure you drink lots of water. I hope that helped.

Okay so Idk what is wrong with me. Like Im convinced bad things are going to happen to me.
like when I'm 16 I cant get my license but i think to the future and picture myself getting into a car accident and like i actualy believe that this is going to happen to me.
And i read a story in seventeen magazine about a women getting murdered in her house and i think to myself oh that will prob. happen to me. like im convinced that something bad is going to happen. Like every bad situation I hear I make myself think its going to happen. Idk why but I dont think its healthy, and i freak myself out. Like I seriously think im going to prob. die in a car accident when i can drive.
please help! (link)

Eleanore Roosevelt said: "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing which you think you cannot do." I used to be really scared, of everything, afraid of making friends out of fear of rejection, driving out of fear of crashing a car and so on. Soon I found myself alone because I was so scared. But there is so much more to life, and I've experinced it. I got in a very serious car crash the day after graduation, people still can't figure out how I survived. But the important thing is I did. I agree that it is not healthy to live in fear, but it is healthy to keep some fear, but just enough to be cautious. Something to think about when you start to freak out is what you are missing by staying at home. You have to remember when you read stories like the one in seventeen magazine is that, that experince belongs to somebody else, not you. You don't have to be scared of death. Just remember there is so much more of life to experince, don't let it slip by. Good luck, and go have an adventure.
