hi brooke,i've known my best friend since 3rd grade.she's really sweet and she's fun to be around!!i'm 12 years old and and going to the 7th grade!! well this year my friend met this girl named ashley reavis!! she's a total prep!! well she's alwayz talkin about my friend behind her back.she copies my friend's homework and she loves putting other people down.well everytime i talk to my friend b/c she's changed a little,she's says i'm hurting her feelings.i don't try to but i want my old friend back!!!sorry so long.what do i do? thanx if you can help me.and may i have your e-mail b/c i need someone to talk to.thanx yoy!! Well i think you should talk to you friend in person alone. Either at your house or hers. Tell her the things this "prep" girl is saying about her and show her the mean things she does. If your friend is really the kind of friend you say she is she will come around and she will realize that you are right. Good Luck!

ok so my friend has been telling people at school that she gets hit by her parents. but i KNOW its not true. she even TOLD me herself that its not true. is she just doing this for attention? and i want her to stop lying to people and saying that she gets abused when she doesnt. what should i do ??

you HAVE to confront your friend. this is a very serious matter. kids grow up being abuse to their children, because their parents abse them. being abused from your parents is a very very dangerous subject. Some of the people she tells might go a step futher and tell a teacher or a guidence consuler. If someone does that she might be taken away from her parents. Her parents might end up in jail. this is very serious u have to stop her. confront your friend if she doesnt stop i really think you should tell someone like a guiandce consular or someone.Please make the right desicion. Well you should smile at him and look for 2 or maybe 3 times at gym. If you get a good reaction back from him then he probley does like you. Talk to him afterwards and maybe do a little flirting. I hope he likes you. Good Luck!

ok my boyfriend is really shy. Like we go to the school breakfast (well i meet him there with my friend) but he doesnt sit with me. I have to go over to his table and sit with him. Also, he doesn't call me and when i call him, we don't have even a 6 minute conversation. You should talk to him, maybe he has reasons for being so shy. There might be family problems, personal problems, or past relationship problems. He might have been hurt by an ex-girlfriend and he doesnt want to get hurt again. Tell him that ur their for him and u always will be. Comfort him and love him, dont put him on the spot. this is about my friend not me just so u no. ok she went to this boys house (hes a kinda bad boy)just to visit. By accident she fell asleep there at his house. Then she found out that shes pregant! The boy and the girl arealday went through puberity (shes 14 and hes 15). She trusts me soooo much and i respect that more than ever its just she really needs help and i think your the only one who can help. We obvically no what happened that nite! (well duh!) but i dont know what to do to help her out! This matters with life and death to her and her babys life and death to!

First of all this girls parents have to know. This is not a joke and its very serious even if she gets into alot of trouble. It a very serious matter to deal with, but you should do the right thing and if you really care about her you will convice her to tell her parents! this is really not funny. I know this is matters with life and death. Teenagers die from this all the time. Right now it doesnt matter about the baby, you have to try to save your friends life. Send mine melissas regards! Tell her what she did really hurt you and that your cant let her be your friend because she might do it again. I know ending friendships are very hard you everyone but if you feel that you cant be her friend then you shouldnt have to be. dont be all mean and say somthing like "I DONT WANT TO BE YOUR FRIEND YOU UGLY PERSON!" say it calmly, she might be very upset or angery. She might want to talk about it or she might just storm away. If she wants to talk about it tell her your reasons and your feelings. Talking about it might give her and you a better outlook on your ending friendship...who knows talking about it might bring you to realize that the thing she did wasnt really worth ending a friendship over. PS-if what she did was about some boy...dont end the friendship, you will regret it.

i have a huge crush on this boy at school.Boys do ask me out a lot and he knows it. Were also really close friends and all but i wanna take it furthur. I no that this is a stupid ( ok really stupid!) question but............i have one fear and that is to ask him out. I really want to i just dont know how. If he says no then he might tell everyone and i'll be banished and have to move to a new school, dye my hair, change my name, and cut my hair!! just kidding! If you think there is a chance he will say yes then go for it. Dont worry about all that tell the whole school stuff, dont worry, as long as you got a good group of girls who got your back. But if you never ask him then you will never know if this "close friendship" would have turned into something more. Whats the worst thing he can do...say no? I say go for it sheena!
