about

Well I'm just about your average teenage girl: dreaming of things that aren't real, labeled by people who I don't know, pressured to do good in school, managing home life between school life, and deciding what outfit to wear next week. I do not care what your word is, but the mall is my sanctuary & shopping is my sport. I love heading off into San Diego, and lay back on the beach with my friends. By the way, living off McDonald's french fries would not be a problem for me -- they are super delicious! I think boys are just so plain clueless sometimes, and they just don't understand us girls. They break our hearts over & over again, and don't even realize it! I love my parents (sometimes) because they have put up with me for so long and yet, hasn't disowned me. Softball is a fun sport to play, just don't make fun of me how I swing the bat & all will be good. NEVER EAT SOGGY WAFFLES!

advice

whenever i bring up a guy in a conversation with my father he's always asking 'who is he?' or 'do i know him?' he is always too overprotective of me about boys and dating nd he says i should stay away from dating until i am 18, which i will be in 5 years. i just want him to know that i think i am mature enough to start dating, but i don't know how to say it so he'll understand. sorry if it's too long..

I can imagine my dad say something like that, my parents are often overprotective about things like that too. My first piece of advice is that you should find a time where it would be right to talk. Then ask him exactly why he doesn't allow you to date until you are 18, and just tell him right off the bat what you think. Communication is important to solve problems like these, so make some ground rules. Maybe he is worried that you will do things that he feels isn't right yet, so tell him exactly what dating to you is. Fathers usually are like that, thinking that teenagers are unaware of the consequences. Hopefully you two will make a compromise, and straighten things out!

Hey, I have been trying to lose weight for idk how long now and it hasnt worked. I've been playing lacrosse to, so its not like i dont have any exercise.. but it sucks because I've lost weight before, and i want to lose it again to look good this summer when i go back to california to visit friends and family. I always tell myself, 'okay today im going to not eat fatty foods and work 29835 times harder in practice and run when i get home' but i never pull through with it. I need some will power or something that will help me actually LOSE THE WEIGHT, because i hate feeling like im FAT. I want to wear a size 3 in pants again, i wear a 5 and sometimes a 7 depends on the pants, and i want to look good in a bikini.. can someone please help me to get some will power to actually go through with losing weight and what should i eat? sorry it's sooooo long..

I have some friends that are going through the same situtation and what I have been telling them is to stop telling themselves that they are fat or overweight. If you keep telling yourself that, your self esteem will drop and that'll prevent you to not accomplish your goals that you have set. Everybody has their own body frame and that is what makes them beautiful.
