Me and my ex boyfriend broke up. I still loved him but i couldn't be with him because of my parents. I was going to wait until I moved out to be with him again. He moved on before I could tell him. Now, I cant move on and he insults me to try to get me to go away. He doesnt want me in his life anymore and I cant seem to accept that. How can I move on and stop loving him? (link)

As much as I hate starting off an answer with this, I had the same problem. Going off of my personal exprience, I honestly don't think there is anything you can really do to get over it right away. There is no quick fix to this. The most important thing you can do right now though is to distance youreself away from him. Remove thing from your room that might remind you of him. It will be hard! A break up is never EVER easy! Nobody likes to break up and you just have to let yourself be sad. Let yourself cry, eat ice cream, watch sad movies, cry again, go out with your friends, cry some more and more and more. Let it out and do as much as you can to distract yourself. I hate when people say make lists of why you hate him or things like that because you just make yourself think about him more. If you really need to do it once, but REALLY do it. LEt all your anger out and then after that don
't think about him again. Put all your strength otwards avoiding anything to do with him. trust me, you'll feel better before you know it. Also, talk to other guys, it will remind you that life goes on after this one. You are free now so take advtage of that and focus on YOU. One last thing my sister tolld me at one point when my ex was insluting me and i was trying to talk to him, i told her i loved him and i needed him and things like that and she said that if he was the one, he wouldnt be treating me like this. That's when i understood. Oh and one last last thing, take a vacation, even a mini vacationa t your friends house, just something tog et yourself away from your suroundings will help you to not call him. good luck and if you need anyhthing just ask.
