I used to cut and alot of my friends do about 5 and i stopped about 2 months ago and i havn't done it since and i'm sorta worried bout this cuz my cuzzin (whos younger then me by 2 months) is doin it too now and i think she picked up the habbit from me..... i feel really bad and i want to start again but i promised my bf that i wouldn't and i havn't but when we broke up a couple months ago i did it and i havn't since because were going out again. but i feel realy bad hope you can help

Well you shouldnt do it and yeah i know it may seem like it takes everything away but it doesnt trust me i would know and about your cousin and friends talk to them about it and tell them how dangerous it is and maybe they will stop and if they dont well..there iisnt much you can do.

i have this "sister" and she cuts her wrist...i want her to listen to me when i tell her stop but she doesnt! she doesnt do it everyday now...only sometimes...it still bothers me becaus ei mean this is my "SISTER" and im worried about her...i have had a lot of family members do that in their life and i knew a lot of people who died from suicide and i dont want ANYTHING even close to that happen to her
Some days she wwill go to me and go please dont tell no one and i will say promise and i dont want to break that promise but she will lift her sleeve and then i will see this red line (on top of the many) on her wrist. i give her a look and just sigh. the angel inside me is saying tell someone!!! its the right thing to do but idont wanna lose a friend so my mind is saying DONT BREAK THAT PROMISE!! i dont know if im being over protective or just being a good friend

Well..i think that you should tell somebody because if you dont she could get really hurt i mean i used to cut...but i dont anymore because sometimes it just doesnt help and if she keeps doing it more and more you might just want to tell somebody because it isnt safe to keep secrets that are harmin her.

Well ask your friend straight up and tell her that you want the truth if she does have a problem with you figure out ways to fix it and maybe she wont have a problem wid you anymore
