I'v always wanted to become an actress. I'v taken acting and modeling classes since I was 6, but I'm only 15. I have 3 years before I can move anywhere. How can I find auditions in the area I live in? I live in Albuquerque, NM. (link)
look online and in newspapers. Do you guys have backstage west? we have that here in cali and thats what i use. I haven't gone on too many auditions yet considering i'm still busy in high school, but the best thing to do is start with small things. Depending on whether you wanna do film or stage. Stage is easier to break into because there are professional theatres everywhere. As far as film, you just have to see if anything is in your neighborhood or anywhere near. You might have to drive or have someone drive you a ways away to do it. Its really hard until you're out of school and on your own. Also, having been born to parents who act and such, if you have a want, you'll be able to do it. Notice how horrible actors stay afloat because they want it badly enough. SO yeah, basically, just look around and see what you can do. I'm lucky because i've wanted it since i was five and i live about an hour away from Hollywood, so yeah...

Well i dont know if this goes in this catagory but here i go. i have been taking ballet since i was 3 1/2 years old. i am now 13 so i have been dancing ballet for a long time. my ballet teacher said that i am now accepted to take the demi-pointe class, but two problems.
1.I take basketball twice a week and i am not allowed to quit.
2. it will cost alot of money and i dont come from a rich family.
what should i do? please help me. (link)
well, i think that you should talk to your parents about it. If they say its okay, then you should check your basketball schedule to make sure that everything fits. if your parents can't do it because they dont' have the money or your schedule conflicts, just tell your teacher that. Say that you'd love to, but its not the right time. your teacher will understand and hopefully you'll be able to join up later, which you can talk to your teacher about.
Hope i helped!

In Alice in Wonderland the play I got the part of knave of hearts.

is that a good part? Is there singing involved? (link)
the knave of hearts is basically the jack of hearts. if you do the same version of the musical that i did, then its not a very big role as far as speaking and singing, but you'd be on stage for a bit. Theres the court scene and then around the queen pretty much. Your best bet is to find out the version because there are millions of versions of that show.
