It just depends on how ready you two are. Age has something to do with it as well, but whenever you both feel comfortable is when you know it will be okay. Make sure you have a condom with you so you reduce your risk at pregnancy and STD's. Stay safe and follow your heart.

Is there a way to break your hymen yourself? Like I have tried fingering and everything and never felt anything unusual or bled, but i don't know... maybe it's already broken? I mean I heard that tampons can stretch it and I do wear tampons mostly but I can't tell. I just thought that would make it alot less painful when you have sex for the first time? haha I have no clue...

As the person said before me, your hymen can be broken by doing something as simple as horseback riding, inserting a tampon, or even by running. Everybody is different. I am a virgin as well, but I hear that no matter what your first time will be painful because you havn't had something inside you that big. It's stretching out your vaginal walls which will cause some sort of pain. But to answer your question, yes you can break it by yourself.
