im about 132 lbs. 13 yrs old and around 5'1". when i wake up every morning i look really thin and good. like in a healthy way. but by the end of the day i look really fat. this happens every single day. i wake up looking good and then i go to bed looking like i gained 10 lbs. i feel like if i try to starve myself ill either stay thin or lose a lot of weight but when ever i try to i just eat like a pig no matter how much i remind myself of the things people have said to me about my being fat. help please. im desperate. thanks

i struggled with that too... in fact i kindof still do! im also 13, i weigh 125lbs and im around 5'4. i always compare myself to the "popular" girls at school and it makes me want to cry because i think i'm so fat. but looking back when i was in 2nd grade, i started to get heavier and heavier and in 5th grade i was 118lbs... which was really overweight for my age... so it makes me feel better that i kindof thinned out a bit and didn't gain as much as i thought. my best advice to you is that (if you do)you should stop comparing yourself to others who might be slightly skinnier than you. also, when you say you wake up skinny and at the end of the day you look fatter, its because of your water weight... trust me. it's a girl thing :P... what i've been doing is before i eat something, i look at the calories and the fat on the food. your days meals should add up to be around 1,400-2,000 calories per day. EX: if you eat like a double-cheeseburger from mcdonalds that is like 700 calories... that's almost like half of your days calories... so the rest of the day you should try to eat something healthier and less fatened. you should also try to eat small portions and not huge ones. its better to eat more small portions than it is to eat less huge portions. switching your soda's to diet and even water like i've been doing helps too... and excerising 3 times a week for atleast 3 months will defenitly lose you weight. my mom and I are doing yoga and pilates, buns of steel (haha) and abes of steel. you could try those if you'd like, they really help! hopefully i've been helpful :) best of luck!
