Q: I'm going to a sweet sixteen tomorrow and I dont know anyone (except for the bday girl)!!! what do i doo?! I know i should be outgoing and all... but i dont want to be like weird about it...

start off around the birthday girl and from there you can pick someone to go up to that you think doesnt seem to know many people either or maybe ask the girl to introduce you

Q: 17/f. ok so my best friend and i have went to this club a couple times. the last time we went was a week ago, and i had just broken up with my boyfriend [18] of 4 months 3 days before. we met these two guys, and the one i danced with is now interested in me. both me and my friend exchanged numbers with these guys, and have been talking ever since, just through myspace and text, though. this guy really likes me, and wants to hangout & go to eat and whatever. he's a nice guy, and sure, going to eat would be fun. however, the [ex]-boyfriend and i are talking again, and trying to work through our problems so we can be happy again. but technically, im still single. i feel kinda bad, because this guy does like me alot, and he's fun to hang out with, but i just dont want to lead him on or anything if my boyfriend & i end up back together. what should i do? would going to eat with him [plus my friend and the other guy] be a bad idea? not to mention, he lives an hour away from me, and doesn't have a car, so a relationship would either a) not work or b) be VERY stressful mostly on me since i have the car & we all know how gas prices are these days or 3) be basically long distance which i dont want. any help?

you should go out to eat with them but make it clear that you see him as a friend, say something to him like if he compliments you be like aw your such a good friend, that might get the message across then maybe when you are out to eat something that reminds you of your ex will come out and if you bring him up that might make him get that you are still interested in your ex. If he doesnt get the point you might have to be harsh and tell him its not going to work out
