My name is Elise. I have been on and off advicenators for years, since I was 11 (I know... I lied about my age). I always seemed to love helping others, with problems they might not want to ask their friends about. Even if it's just something they're interested in, or need a second opinion on, I love to help. I also have had my fair share of problems, and many have helped me. This is my way of giving back, and this is what I like to do.

How do u no if ur bi, lesbian or straight?
The lst columnist did mention you having two significant others... If anything, that might come up, keep in mind, youre not only letting them know about your confusion, but also remember your letting them know your seeing two people, which might suprise them. Dont get their two reactions mixed up. Just because they may not be happy about you seeing two people doesnt mean anything about their feelings on your sexuality.
I don't think telling your parents about your sexuality should be an issue, unless your parents and you have comunication issues, most parents are very understanding about it though.
It will not hurt to try and talk about it with them.
A good way to tell whether your bi, lesbian, or straight, is thinking about yourself. Since appaprently you have had both gfs and bfs, think of your relationships, which have worked out best? why?
What you are truely trying to find out is who you are, and if you happen to like people, not depending on their gender, you're bi, and thats fine.
You truely just have to accept yourself, no matter what.

My friends birthday is tomorrow and I have no idea what I should do for her, or even what I should get her. Suggestions? By the way she's turning 15.
When I need a quick birthday gift idea, I like to use pics! If you happen to have lots of pics of you and your friends, making them a slideshow or cut out poster of pics is a great gift, even a sort of scrap book would work.
If you don't happen to have a bunch of pics, and plan on going shopping before then, I always think its cute to buy an inexpensive purse, and fill it with fun little things like, jewelery, make up, and key chains.
It also is a little impersonal, but if all else fails, money works =)
