advice
im not shy at all and i have no problem talking to people. now that i started high school i want to branch out and make a lot of friends. i talk to alot of new people but i dontknow how to take the talking to the next level and like start hanging out with them. i still am kinda intimidated because the girls i want to be friends with are kinda popular and i dont want to feel like an idiot asking to go somewhere. i cant have a party or people over cause my house is weird and doesnt have a place for people to hang out. i really really want new friends, i just need some help
If you feel comfortable asking them to hang out, go for it. It doesn't have to be at your house, nor does it have to be at a party. Bring up a movie you want to see during a conversation and ask if anyone wants to go see it. Or maybe you can all meet up at the mall. Don't feel like an idiot either. Everyone hangs out with people, even these "kinda popular" girls and if you consider them your friends and you talk to them all the time, I'm sure they'll think it's a great idea to start hanging out. Hope that helps!
