Q: Ok, I have this friend and she gets beat everyday but she keeps it to herself she's only told me because she trusts me she doesn't want me to tell anyone about it even my parents. She needs help before she really gets hurt should I tell someone about it and betray her trust or should I just keep it to myself?
If you don't tell someone, your friend could be seriously hurt. She told you that she gets beat because she trusts you, and thinks you are a real friend. Friends help each other out. Through the good times & the bad, they are there for eachother. You are there for your friend, listening to her stories of the past nights, but take it one step farther. Get your friend help. I'm not going to lie to you, she will probably be mad, but you would be saving her. Put yourself in her shoes; even though you probably couldn't say it, deep down you'd know that you need help, and want help. Some people are independent, they want to do things on their on, & think they can handle things on their own. In this situation, being on your own isn't going to work. Your friend needs you, and your help. I hope I helped you, and I'm sure you'll friend will forgive you if she gets upset. You are only trying to be a good friend. It might just take sometime for her to notice that.

Everyone has problems. Talking about them is just one way to deal with them. You can't solve everything on your own. That's why I'm here. To try and let you see your situation in my perspective. If you come to me with your problems, I'll give you a truthful answer. Lying to you will only make matters worse.
