Okay, it's 2 in one I guess.

Basically, I have this major crush. Which means it's gonna last for 3 years or more or until I give up and accept that he and I are gonna be only friends. Well, anyways. He's ex gf...let's call her Cindy. His ex gf is Cindy and I'm somewhat friends with Cindy. Cindy and my crush went out few times last year and they're off now. I think my crush still sometimes like her but yeah. Well, I don't know how I'm suppose to deal with that. I mean I know that Cindy gets pretty jealous. I don't know. How do I deal with that?

And also my crush and I are kind of growning apart I guess? I don't know. I'm pretty much struggling with depression right now and I go through periods where I just withdraw from everyone completely and I have low self esteem. So when my crush compliments me, all I can do is give him the sarcastic "right" or the "what are you smoking?" look. But yeah. How can I be more open to people's compliments and take them as they are? I feel like I'm pushing everyone away by doing what I'm doing. Oh, and when a guy says "you look cute when you get angry" what the heck are you suppose to say back? I mean, he meant it in a nice, flirting way. And what are you suppose to do when you crush has that dreamy expression on his face when he's looking at you? Like at this one school event, we were sitting across from each other after I attempted to arm wrestle him. well, he had that goofy dreamy look on his face and was staring at me and I didn't know what to do. Yeah. I'm a loser that sucks at dealing with situations. (link)
Okay, for the question about your crush and Cindy, you have to choose who you care about more. Would you rather tell your best friend the truth, and hope that she doesn't get mad at you, or would you just find someone else to crush on, knowing that you won't jeopardize your friendship? It's all up to you on this one, I can't help you with your decision, sorry.

As for number 2...

Accept compliments that you get graciously. If someone is going out of their way to compliment you, then you should be proud and say, "Thank you". Not just any person will compliment someone, so take it as being a special moment.

As for "you look cute when you get angry"...

I'd play along. If someone flirts with you, flirt back. It's great fun, even if you have no intentions of going out with the guy. Although, it does confuse them sometimes, so if they ever ask why you were flirting with them, if you don't really want to go out with them, just say, "I wanted to see what your reaction would be", then just smile. :)

If you need anymore help, just ask, I'm always here to help. :D
