My hair has never been much longer than shoulder length...till now. It recently started to grow and is now just starting to go past my chest. I really want to grow it out long.
The only problem is that the bottom inch or so is really dead. Its the longest it's ever been and I really don't want to cut it.
It's not thin but not thick either, I rarely use heat on it and its always up.
Should I cut it or is there someway to bring it back to life without spending much money? If I do cut it, how short? (link)
If you do cut it then get a trim for less then an inch, maybe just the dead ends. I have the same problem and I don't want to cut it so I just put hair oil on the ends. It really does work and shows major differences. You can put hair oil and leave it in your hair till the next time you wash your hair OR you can wash it off after you put the hair oil (leave the oil in for an hour or 2 and then wash it) It will make your hair softer and healthier if you do this. Good Luck!
