I know if I dry my wool sweaters they're shrink, but I don't have time to lay these things out to dry... can I just blow dry them? Will that shrink them just like a dryer would? (link)

ok, to tell you the truth, i have never really tried to blow dry my shirts with a hair dryer, but just in case, don't try it. maybe just wash your clothes a couple days before you wear them. hope this helpes!

I wanted to work on a new look for the new year, I've been thinking about punk, not being way over board. . but adding my own looks, mixing and matching I don't want to be noticed, but I want some say in what I wear. . . For the past years I dressed to impress, now its time for a change. . . IM gunna be dressed cuz I feel like wearing w/e the heck I want! I love the color black. . and fire is pretty, but I wouldnt cal myself a pyro, cuz I dont really love fire. . There r ups and downs. . about fire ya know, And I feel depressed and silenced, and I write poems and write lyrics for songs. . Is that like gothy??? if you really want to chang your look, i say go right ahead and do it. if you like the color black, and if you think fire is pretty, then why should anyone else care. as long as you dont change your personality, your friends shouldn't have a problem with it. and if they do, i think you should find some friends that actually like you for who you are! well i hope i could help!

My hair looks good when I first wash and dry it, but over the course of the day it just goes really flat and looses all its sexy waviness and body. I've tried switching shampoos, using mouse or gel, all sorts of things, but nothing seems to work. What's the trick here? (link)

well, to keep up the body, try buying a shampoo that gives you hair lots of body and volume. also, don't use as much gel or mouse. just try using the shampoo and blow drying your hair upside down to give it more body. hope i helped!

i have blonde...little bit lower then shouldner length hair. its kinda shaped like a mullet. but cuter lol. and it goes diagnol from the bangs to behing my ear. anyways.. need a way to style it. and im not poor but my family is having a bit of money problems right now...where can i get cheap clothes that still look really "cool"? i wanna look good 4 my soon 2 be boyfriend and i really really need some new clothes lol. well, thanks 4 any help! bye! well, if your looking for a way to style your hair and get totally cute clothes, then heres a good way. where i live, theres a store called plato's closet. it's like a consingnment shop but with name brand clothes like, american eagle abercrombie, hollister, etc. and belevie it or not, they have really cute clothes there. so if i were you, shop at a consingment store that sells name brand clothes. no one will ever know the difference. also, if you don't have a store like that, then go to the mall, and go to L.S. ayres. they have the cutest stuff there! but about your hair....well, have you ever tried curling it? that could be cute. or just wearin it straight. oh and if it's layered your could flip up the ends. well i hope i helped you out! good luck!

well, i know there is no freckle removing surgery, but if you want to try and hide your freckles, then buy some foundation or some type of powder cover up to hide your freckles.

my friends and my ex bfs all tell me that im beautiful/pretty but i dont believe it. i have low self-esteem and i cant get over it. i dont think im pretty at all. except my eyes. i like my eyes. i think i have a big nose, bad lips, stupid looking hair and i think im fat and everything and my best friend says that my low self-esteem is a big turn off but i dont wanna think im all that or anything and i just cant help but think im ugly and not good enough (link)

having low self-esteem is definalty not a good thing. i don't have to deal with low self-esteem, but just remeber that when you think you are ugly, fat, etc. that there are other people that don't think so. but you should really try your best to think of yourself better because when your friend tells you that low self-esteem is a big turn off, she is right. my best friend is just like you. she thinks she is fat and she always calls herself ugly. but she is a very pretty girl and everyone likes her because she is so nice. but no matter how many times i tell her that she is not fat, she never agrees with me. so usually we end up aruging about it. and she dosen't get that many boyfriends because she is always putting herself down. it just gets annoying listing to her talk bad about herself. so really try your best and think postitive about yourself. just remeber, just because you don't think your pretty, other people do. and the most important thing of all to remeber is that the real beauty is on the inside not the outside!

I am a senior in highschool and once i graduate i would like to go into fashion designing or interior designing. I have "shadowed" an interior designer before and have helped people in their rooms with designs. I am also curretly designing my prom dress and would hopefully some day like to design my wedding dress. Just one concern.... What if i am totally out of my league and really have no clue with what i am doing. What if i go to college and major in this and then find out that it isnt for me? I guess its just a concern i have been having for awhile now, someone please give me advice. KT

I'm not even close to being in collage, but i think that you could never be out or your league if it's your dream. If you like the clothes that you make, then what does it matter? and you must know what you are doing if you have watched a pro work, and to top it all off you are designing your own dress! thats so amazing! you have nothing to worry about. this is the right profession for you!

Hey, it's lizzy, i have an advice collumn, i was wondering, i want to dye my hair because i am a blonde and it is getting really boring. I want to dye my hair like a maroon color, but not to whacked out, and not so it is auburn like everyone else's is. My skin is kind of pale and i don't know what to do about it. Will a dark red look good on a sort of pale person? Thanks

hey, ummmmm...defiantly don't dye your hair maroon. it would make you look even paler because of the dark red color. plus, it's to wild. i say you should just dye your a hair a redish blondish color. maybe like a strawberry blonde if you want a change for your normal color. but if you want to get away from blonde all together, then do what the other person said and go for the nicole kidman color.
