Is it wrong not to go out with somebody because of their religion? I like this guy, but he doesn't believe in God, and it pisses me off! I don't want to force him to believe in what I believe in, but at the same time I would like somebody to have the same views as me. I'd probably even prefer to find a boyfriend in the church. Is that wrong? (link)
i think that you should be more open. you should not get mad at people just beucase they belive in another god or no god at all. but if this is what is important to you (your religion) then its good to find someone that finds that important too. you might end up resenting him for not believing in god. so you are probably right you should stick with someone in your church unless you are going to be open minded enough to accpet someone else for who they are and remember.. people can have good morals and have good ethics and NOT be christian. but do what feels best to you. find out whats most important to you. i hope that helps make a decision easier

What makes you believe in a higher power that plans your fate over random incidents?

i'm doing an essay in which i have to defend my beliefs (its not even a religous school) and i need one more idea

pretty much what im asking is;;
what is evidence to you that there is a god?

i'm sorry if you don't belive in god, adn di dont mean to affend anyone..but i dont want rude answers about it. if you don't believe, don't respond

thankyou so much! (link)
i have a feeling that tells me that theres something more than life on earth. its hard to explain for me. i guess alot of things help my faith.. i practice judaism.. so i guess the rituals and the laws that we follow (commandments). if that helps..

Lately my school has been talking to us about abortion. They think it's wrong and I'm not sure about it. I'm NOT pregnant, but there are girls in my school who are and each of them has said they wish they would have had an abortion. I think it's wrong, but it could also be for the best if one was to have an abortion.

Please voice your opinions on abortion. I would love to hear everything you have to say about it. (link)
WELL you have lots of opinions.. and.. yeah. ill just say mine too. I belive in soemthing called "partial life" that just means that i belive that they are alive before their born but their life is not equal to one that is already living outside the womb.. NOT that a fetus is unimportant but if the mother has a high risk of death i think thats the only appropriate time to have an abortion. ultimetly i think its the mothers choice. personally i wont do it unless im going to die and thats positive that i wont live threw the birth of my child. but i dont belive that i should have any right or control over tell someone else they cant have one.

and thats my opinion.

okay i hope this doesnt sound really stupid, but... a girl in my town just died and everyone is posting bulletins saying "please pray for her." and i feel really stupid because im not sure what were praying for? i mean, if she was sick or injured id be praying for her to get better. and i can see praying for her family and friends that they will be able to get through this. but when they say pray for her, do they mean pray that she'll go to heaven, or what? im sorry, i just want to understand what they mean. (link)
some religions belive that if you pray for somone while their at their "judgement day" between earth and heaven or hell, it will help them get into heaven. along with what the last person said.. pray for them (or their souls) to be happy or to be in a better place (heaven).

I am very religious. I do not belong to an organized religion and do not practice any thing that is clearly stated and known. Instead, I choose different beliefs from various religions into a mish-mash of different ideas. For example, I believe that God created the Earth, but I do not believe in the Original Sin (Adam and Eve), from Christian religion. I am asking, since I do not have a name for the mix of my beliefs, what, should I reply when I am asked what religion I practice. I do not want to say an atheist, because that is not what I am. Your like me.. I didnt know what i was.. i just knew what i belived in and thats it. Well i started with the top religions. on nothiing else but wikipedia. i put in jew. i read everything about it.. i clicked on every link i didnt know what it meant. i learned ALOT. then i did islam. then i did buddism. It takes alot of time.. but i finally found out what i was. and it was amazing that i finally found soemthing that i agree with TOTALY and completely. and now im in the middle of a conversion..So that would be my suggestion..
