about

Hey guys! My name is Katy, I'm 16, and I'm from Massachusetts. I'm going to be a junior in high school. I'm a pretty friendly person and I have friends of all different groups, locations, ethnicities, etc. I can usually be found listening to music (I play the drums), playing volleyball, watching the Red Sox, being online, making websites, watching the Simpsons or Bug Juice :o), attempting to drive a car (with a parent or guardian in the passenger seat of course ;o) ), IMing my friends, keeping up with my journals, writing, reading, doing homework :oP, at school, dancing in the privacy of my own room, making people laugh, or giving people advice :o). My friends often come to me for advice, and I like to give advice, and so here I am!

advice

i find myself never being able to sleep until like 2 or 3 in tha morning everynight..i cant ever sleep so i just go on AIM or something like that..any advice? i appreciate it. thanks

Ah, the summer sleep schedule. Try to start waking up a little earlier so that you'll be more tired when bedtime comes. You could also take some Tylenol PM around the time you want to go to bed, it helps me get to sleep.

can you help me find some books to read?i've read all the harry potters like 100 times, all the lemony snicket books, inkheart by cornelia funk, the traveling pants series, like all the books by louisa may alcott, chasing redbird, and mostly all the royal diary books, a lot of others too. could you please give me some advice on series and books to read?

Maybe you could start getting into the classics. I read Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and that really got me into both American and British literature. I know when you hear literature you'll think it's boring and that you read it for school and not for fun, but I personally think that many are genuinely good stories that aren't given a chance because of school. Try A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Heminway, or Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.
