advice
ok well next year i want to do track or croscountry are there any ways i can get fast but not make my muscles really big on my leg but i want them to ghet thinner and pleaze do not delete this question i really need advice....thanks
jess
First things first. You dont get huge muscles in your legs from one season of track and feild (or cross country), you would have to do off season training and such to get that.
Anyway heres my advice. Dont do sprints. Do distance man. This may be a little bit bias (since im a distance runner) but running long and steady will get your legs leaner and not as bulky as say a sprinter would have.
So next year when you get around to doing track, I would stick with the events 800 and up, 400 maybe. So if you dont want huge bulky muscles on your legs..go further..and take that literally.
