well ok, im 13/f and my family thinks im going emo. well like i want to learn to play the guitar so bad!! and i wear black nail polish and arm warmers and i dress kind of (punkish) well anyways, i wear black make up and stuff but i dont cut myself or anything like that. I mean i skateboard and i play football, and i hang out with my brothers alot. but my dad is all "you need to act more of a girl" and it ticks me off. how can i get him off my back? thanks in advance (link)

Tell him your just the way you are and nothing can change that try explaing that to him.Trust me my parents tell me to be more "girly" cuz I like dresing in baggy cothes.So I know what your going through I hoped I helped:)
