ok... I am 18 and getting married soon.. My mom used to want to do stuff with me all the time.. but for about the past 4 or 5 years it seems like she doesn'treally care about me anymore... I have 2 older sisters and to me it seems like she is more worried about whats going on in their lives then mine...The brides parents are supposed to pay for most of the wedding and the only thingmy mom has done is buy POTATOES!!! I don't want to confront her about it cause she doesn't really listen to me anyway. I try asking her to do things with me and I try to involve her in the wedding plans and everything but I don't know what to o about her anymore..someone please HELP!!! (link)

Step one: Take a deep breath!
Although you may not want to confront your mom, you are most likely going to have to. But first, try talking to your older sisters and see if they know anything that might be bothering your mom. If not, then you need to sit down with your mom one on one and ask if there is anything you can do for her. She may be going through things right now that you are unaware of.
If all else fails then try getting your sisters involved with the wedding more. You mother may spark an interest if they are.
But the best advice from anyone would be to talk to your mother.
