why is it considered wrong(for lack of a better word) for a teenage guy to be hanging with his mother at the mall and stuff?
Some girls think it's 'wrong' because they like an independant guy, or a guy who can go off on there own. But me personally, I think it's cute when I see a guy at the mall with his mom. I go to the mall with my mom all the time. So in my eyes, there's nothing wrong with it. Don't let it get to you if someone calls you a 'mama's boy' or a loser for going to the mall with your mom. They're just upset they might not be as close to there mom as you may be. . . Or there just a buncha jerks. So. . . I say go to the mall with your parents whenever you want, who cares??
Well my mom ALWAYS calls me a whore and a slut i dont know what to do about it. My dad wont talk so i dont know how he feels and it drives me crazy when she calls me that. I always wonder...well what if I really am...but no one at school thinks I am. Why is my mom doing this to me and do you have any ideas on what I can do to stop it??
thanks
Sometimes parents can put their kids down because they are jealous of them. Believe it or not, it happens. Your mom could be calling you those things because she's jealous of how good of a kid you are. If you've done more good things and achieved more goals then your mom did when she was your age, she could be putting you down so she doesn't have to feel insecure or maybe even stupid. I know it sounds dumb, but it happened to my older brother and my dad. It's really sad, but there are ways to get through it. I'm going to mention counseling, cuz its the most effective thing i can think of right now. My advise isn't that hot on this one, and i'm not positive that what i said is right. But I hope I helped you at least a little bit. :-\

My dad was a bad alcoholic. I can tell you a lot of things I've done, and my family has done to help him stop. He's been sober for about three or four years now. My s/n is Lock And Load271, and I'd be happy to help you out with this. I know I should be typing in advise on here, but I think that these types of problems are best talked about through a conversation. ya know? sooo, if you want to know anything, i'll be MORE than happy to hear from ya!
