how do you separate like colours? does it have to be just one type of colour? or like tones or colours? so dark and light or exactly red like colours, and blue light colours? i have no idea! (link)

this is how i separate our laundry.
Lights ( white and gray )
Colors ( blue, pink, green etc. )
Jeans
Darks ( navy blue, dark green, etc. )
Towels
