What qualifies someone to give advice on this site?

I personally would say the qualifications lie in 3 key factors: Intention, experience and knowledge.

Of course there is "good" advice and "bad" advice. This is where intention comes into play, there are people who give advice while not always having the best intention in mind. I would hope that most people on this site reply with good intention and for the best helpful outcome for the person in need of advice. Because though we do get "trolls" on this site and questions that might not seem serious or real scenarios we should still always take them seriously; just to bare in mind that what we say can impact/affect someone's life.

Personal experience comes into play in everyday life, it can be something as simple as not recommending the soup at a certain restaurant because you have had it before and it isn't all that great, to sharing a very personal experience that is similar to someone else's and helping them through a rough patch in their life; by sharing the good and bad things that have happened. The "mirror" effect, using your personal experience to mirror someone else's so they don't commit the same mistake as you or at the very least they can have some possible foresight.

And of course knowledge is a very important part of qualifying to give advice, getting your facts straight! Researching topics or already having the information that is concrete based on fact and scientific evidence is very helpful. I personally take it upon myself to briefly search information on a certain subject that someone might need information on or advice on and I also include links...because I enjoy learning and if I don't have any knowledge on it beforehand then I will for the next time around; I also enjoy reading a lot so I do read a lot about everything I can that peaks my interest and anything I think will come in handy. As they say knowledge is power!

It's just a sense of humanity, having compassion, sympathy, combined with righteous indignation.

So those are my two cents on this topic.

When I smile one of my eyebrows goes up higher than the other. How can i fix this?

That's strange. If it happens every time you smile, my guess is your nerves are some how connected. It's like trying to wiggle your big toe with out moving the rest of your toes. Very difficult, because the tendons, muscles and nerves are all connected. Some people can do it but it's hard. You could try to train your muscles, to not spams. Ask your doctor about it they may be able to further explain why it happens and how to stop it, if possible.

I looked up most of my dreams, but there was one I could not find. I need help, I want to know what it means. Someone broke into my house and stole my clothes from my closet, my sister, boyfriend, and her boyfriend ran off and caught him and everything. He apologized, and I expected to see my clothes when I came home. Turns out that, the clothes I don't even wear where back in my closet. But they went off to sell the rest of my clothes.

What does this mean???

I'm not certain but here's what I get...

Your clothes are a symbol of something close to you, as in attachments. Whether they're material or emotional or a person.

There for the new "clothes that you use more" were sold away and the old remained. Maybe you've been thinking on something past some old memories that have been holding you back in something, or that has been pushing away your newer "clothes".

Your sister and her boyfriend caught the theif so that's good, you'll be gaining something lost back.

The theif apologized, there's been maybe regret on your mind, or maybe someone has done something to you and now they're feel sorry.

You expected to see your clothes mostly the newer ones that you have more use of. You're expecting for the new attachment to come back to you or to stick around while you still hold on to the old ones.

So yeah...that's what I get short in simple, something old is standing in the way of something new. Old memories so to speak are preventing you to move forward....or to progress in some way.


This might not be what you're looking for or might not tie in with what's going on but this is what I can "perceive."

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how to get your period to come faster.

I'm a week late, definately not pregnant, and it's usually normal for me, however I've been experiencing PMS pains for the last 10 days! My stomach and back are aching, I've had fevers (which I normally get as well because my period makes my body really overreact).
Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions on making it come faster? I tried exercising (helped last time) but it's not doing anything for me.

You can't make your period come faster per-say...however if you're usually late and want to take controll of your cycle, birth control is always an option! :)
There are also some natural herbs and or drugs.
That will make you regular ad make them shorter and less painful as well. :D

I've had fake/acrylic nails for such a long time now (done by a salon). I'm just sick of going every few weeks, so my problem is.. is there any way I can get them off at home? I don't like it when the professionals take them off because it really hurts their way. Is there any products I can use or soak them in to get them off? I've heard soaking them in soapy, warm water helps but that takes forever! Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated.

First you wanna cut the nails as short as possible, as close to your actual finger nails.
Then you need to get a bowl and some nail polish removal (the kind with ACETONE in it). Pour that in the bowl, then get some Vasaline (petroleum jelly) and put it around you fingers where there's skin, try not to get it dirrectly on the nail or under it, or this won't work. This to prevent skin irritation from the chemicles.
After that soak your nails in the bowl for 15 to 20 minutes, then pull out and peel them off. They should come off fairly easy, if there's any struggle dip for another 10 minutes.

Not many stores that are cheap on lingerie, how ever they do have the occasional sales we all love!:D
We obviously know Victoria Secret has a great sexy line of hot lingerie, they tend to have sales, there's also Bare Necessities and Lingerie Diva. All have online websites were they have specials and sales and such things. Which I will say ordering off line you can save a few cents more then buying in person just an f.y.i! Hope i helped =)

Whats a good newish movie that will actually scare me? Ghost movies usually scare me and so do all the SAW and Hills Have Eyes movies. Please just tell of any good scary movies you've seen recently.

Quarantine almost made me shit myself...it's good if you like zombie movies! >:]
Ummm...The Mist had it's moments too, especially if you hate/bug/alien type shit.
Then there's Slither...not so much scary as it is gross. >.>
Errr....The Haunting in Conneticut, people said it was scary I thought it was alright.
