Okay, my boyfriend's mom had a stroke and is in the hospital. She's not expected to make it much longer. Every time he calls me, I have no idea what to say to him. I can't really give him advice, and I don't want to say "everything's going to be okay" because clearly it's not. Any ideas on what I can say to him? I can't go see him and just comfort him because he lives a few hours away.

Just tell him that you love him(if your comfortable with that) and your there for him...its hard to comfort someone in a time like this and I'm sure he will understand why you dont have much to say =[

Be a good listener...maybe him telling someone how he feels will make him feel better. Tell him you wish you were there, but above all just be a good listener.Dont try to tell him you know what hes going through...these kind of situations are different for everyone and he might not take it very well.
