Ok so there is this guy that i just got to know this year. He is great and sweet and a wonderfull person. We have a lot in common. The problem is he won't tell me that he likes me though he told that to one of my best friends, his best friend, and everyone can tell anyways. I like him too and i want him to ask me out. My friends told me to kiss hhim and i want to but i am soo nervous and scared. I wish he would just get it over with. If i kiss him then that would be my first kiss. My question is: What should I do? Should I kiss hiim or just confront him?

well it depends on the time. if you are ready to kiss him (and he`s ready too) then go for it! just make sure it won`t be something you regret later. my first kiss was with a guy just like that..we weren`t going out or anything..and he never told me he liked me..it just kind of..happened i guess. i can`t tell you what you should do..just follow your heart..it will lead you to where your meant to be:)

13/f Okay..for the girls you may know what I'm feeling here..

Well do any of you other girls ever really want a boyfriend? Well that's the way I'm feeling..I mean lately I just feel..ugly. I mean no guys at school like me and today a few guys asked me out but I know(at least I think) that they were kidding. And in a few weeks I will be going to Cedar Point with my friend for her birthday and she's bringing two of her guy friends. She's saying that me and her guy friends would make such "cute couples" but I don't know..With my luck, they probably won't like me.

I don't know..I guess I'm just really self-concious about this..When I look at other girls, they are so pretty and it makes me feel like I'm as ugly as dirt.

And all of my friends think I'm pretty but I don't. I think I'm fat and that I'm totally unattractive.

If you need to look, I'm about to go upload a picture of myself onto my advice column

Does anyone know why I'm feeling this way? I understand that it's probably hormones but..

aww..hunn..i even went through this. i would compare other girls to myself and think i was so ugly. just look at the positives of yourself. think of what you have..that no one else does. You will find someone..trust me. i found this amazing guy a year or so ago now and when he said he liked me..i was shocked because i thought i was ugly. every guy has a different opinion..trust me..they aren`t all the same. good luck n i hope you find someone soon!=) if you ever need anything else..drop one in my inbox.

Okay, when I like a guy, I'm shy to tell them on the phone and online. The only way I'm NOT shy if I tel lthem straight out in person. Is this weird? And do guys like when you do it this way??

That is great! for most people it is the other way around. I kno i was way too shy to do it in person or even on the phone! I think that guys like a girl who isn`t too shy to talk to them face to face. i hope everything works out!

You will just have till school starts. You never kno, there might not be any guys you would be attracted to. It`s sounds like you have a great guy!! Hopefully everything will work out!

Hey, I'm 12 and a girl. I really like this kid, but like, he doesn't want to go out with me. He feels uncomfortable going out with someone my age(he;s 25). I try brightning up, but i can';t. I listen to music, and my favorite song even makes me sad! Even happy songs make me sad. I really feel unloved. I don't know what to do. Wait for him? Move on?

I think most guys don`t like dating girls younger than them. Expecially if there is a big age difference. I would wait a little while..you can still have a crush on him but look for other guys as well. You never kno..he might want to go out with you soon if you just give it time, or you might find a guy you like even more! And don`t feel unloved because im sure you will find the right person. Oh..and i don`t think moving on is ever easy for anyone so just try your best if you have to and you find someone else that will care about you just as much. I really hope i helped and good luck with everything!!
