Hello world! The name's Megan. Meg for short. I'm eighteen years young and loving every second of it.
What most of you call "paradise," I call home. I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Maui– a rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I fled the nest last summer to go to college in the quite dramatically different, very rainy Seattle, Washington.
Most of you will probably ask WHY?! The answer is simple. Change. Currently, that's what I'm all about. Change... trying new things... exploring and expanding my horizons... getting out there and just experiencing life. As far as I'm concerned, change is inevitable, so you might as well embrace it.
My latest escapade: Learning to love indiscriminately and extravagantly. I'm trying this new crazy thing where I love OTHERS more than I love myself... which is why I am starting an advice column. Hopefully, I will be able to help someone, somewhere out there with a problem. And that ONE person, would make all of this worth it.

I met this guy and we totally hit off. He's pretty much in love with me, and I strictly just like him. Apparently, he has this girl who is obsessed with him, and he can't stand her. She's always making these depressing blogs about it, and in a way.. i can sense that she's not too fond of me. I don't want to be in the middle of this, and im sick of her friends complaining to me about "stealing him away from her"..especially when he never even liekd her. How am I supposed to deal with these people? I can't help the fact that we like eachother. (link)

Well, if you haven't already, tell the guy how you feel about this whole thing. Be completely honest. Tell him that you think that you both have a connection... but also be really honest and say that you don't love him... but that you would like to hang out more and see if something happens. (after all, love DOES take time.)
As for the other girl, I would say that you are right in saying that you can't help the fact that you like each other. The best option is to just hang out with the guy to see what happens... since you're not completely in love with him, it probably isn't a good idea to put everything at stake for this guy. But, if you guys end up falling in love, then I would say, GO FOR IT! The other girl will realize what a good thing you two have and will eventually have to accept the fact that she needs to move on.
