I like this guy and i sent him a not asking if he likes me and he said yes and i no he does because his friend says he talks about me alot and really wants to go out with me. I really want to go out with him but i don't want to ask him and he's not very confident so i think he's afraid to ask me. Should I ask him and ever since he told me he's kinda of ignored me. There is this guy I really like, and he told my friend he likes me too. I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how I can turn him from a guy friend to a boyfriend? and PLEASE don't say "ask him out" or "hang out with him" because I know that. I want suggestions on waht kind of things to do or say or whatever. we also have the same lunch @ school. (link)

Invite him to a movie (scary)
Get scared look to him for confort.
Guys LOVE the oppertunity to be protecting, so let him protect you! (even if you arent scared, a little bit of faking can't hurt :p)
Invite him to sti with you at lunch!
Or go sit with him and his friends..Don't if you only know him and don't ditch your other friends if you spot him across the hall!!
How about trying to hint to him that you want a boyfriend. (sounds weird, but it worked for me! :p)
I told my guy friend, I wanted a guy. I liked him and he liked me. He picked up on the hint and asked me out the next day.
Another suggestion, I know you'll hate me, but ask him out. Just say "Do you wanna..." and see what his facial expression is like if he looks chuffed carry on and ask him out. If he looks a bit confused ask him if he wants to meet up later on.

Okay, I just starting going out with my amazing boyfriend, (who just happens to be my best friend's ex, but she knows and she's not mad)and we went to the movies last night, and had an incredible night. We kissed, we told each other we loved each other, and pretty much everything else. He tried to make out with me the whole movie, but after I got my point across that I wasn't going to make-out with him the whole movie, he finally stopped, and we just held hands, cuddled, and flirted. I thought he was going to stop liking me because I didn't want to continue as far as he wanted me to, but he called me after our date, and we only talked for a few minutes. Now, here's the thing: I told my best friend (his ex) about our date, and all she could tell me was that everything he said and did was only a game to try to get in my pants. I believe her, but I really like him. (I would never give in to having sex with him, though) So, is there any advice anyone could give me on how to deal with this whole situation?

But she may just be looking out for you!
How did they break up? Did he cheat on her or dump her for another girl? Something along those lines, maybe shes saying stuff like that to protect you.
Ask her. It's the only way you'll find out if shes being truthful. Also ask her if she really is okay with you two dating, because if she isn't you need to end it before you get really serious about him. No one wants a relationship where they can't go out with their best friend AND their boyfriend!!
About him! If he really does just wanna get in your pants, he wouldn't have stopped trying to make out with you.
Guys aren't as sneaky as us girls make them out to be.
Usually, if a guy likes you, he wouldnt want to wreck it by upsetting you by pressuring you to make out the whole time.
