So I have a date tomorrow with a guy I really like. We have only met 3 times and its been with a bunch of people but we have been texting basically everyday and he finally asked me to go out to dinner with him and the movies. Im 14/f btw.. Im really nervous. like i have been out with a bunch of guys on dates but they have all been guys that I'm used to and known forever so it wasnt awkward. but what do i do tomorrow if things are awkward and we dont have anything to talk about!? any tips? conversation starters?

Im 17, and a girl, so i know where you're soming from.. i didnt actaully go on a real date until i was 16 so lets see if i can help you out... Just try not to be nervous, try not to think about it the whole time as the first date and that what if you being too eager or something... just kinda go with the flow. Don't be quiet and not involved, but you dont want to be a chatter box either, give the guy something to talk about. If you know some of his friends ask how they met, or what they do on guy time. Just remember to be natural and yourself... you dont want him thinking your someone that youre not.

I definately think that you should ask him what's wrong, or if your not comfortable ask you best friend.. btw is your best friend a guy or girl?... you never know what's going on in his house or at school that maybe he doesn't feel like he can talk to you about. Maybe he's stressed out about some stuff and just needs space and time.. either way i think its good that you ask him or the friend, its not something that you should just leave hanging
