I have been dating my boyfriend for a while now. Since 6th grade. Im 16, im in the 10th grade. Hes 17 in the 11th grade. Last night, he asked to see my text messages. I simply said no. Because my thing is, its my personal bussiness, and your not entitled to see it. So he gets mad, and says that obviously im hiding something. Was i wrong for not letting him see the text messages?

no i don't think you were wrong at all. i wouldn't want my boyfriend reading my text messages either, it's just something private and personal. however i do see where your boyfriend is comming from, because i would do the same thing. but everyone needs their own privacy, and he needs to accept that.

heres what i think, since you went out with that other guy, maybe the guy that you liked got a bit jelous. he realized that you are moving on, and that you do have a life. now since he started flirting with you, i think you should flirt back too. don't get your hopes up if nothing happens :/, because i can't really tell if he likes you or if he just likes to flirt with you. so FOR NOW just let the flirting go on...just wait a little and see what happens =).

oh and one more thing, you should be confident about yourself! theres probably many things about you that are amazing, dont hide them, let the world know :). but just don't be TOO confident, or else you'll be cocky- and that can be annoyingggg haha.

Just call me confused! I'm having a problem—I have a boyfriend and he lives halfway across the state, but this other kid likes me here, where I live. It's so tempting to go ahead and be with this guy that likes me, but I don't want to be dishonest to my boyfriend. I really love my boyfriend but it's hard with him being so far. What should I do?

this is just my opinion, but i think you should take a break with your boyfriend. i mean come on, he lives pretty far away and long distant relationships are really hard. just take a break and try things out with this new guy, but only if you really like him.
but if you REALLY REALLY love your boyfriend and you feel empty without him then i suggest you stick with him. even though he's halfway across the state, you can still find a way to make things work if you really tried. but this is a decision you have to make on your own, im just giving you my opinion. good luck !:)

there is this guy, who is a senior, he likes me and i like him back and we have become really close. we hung out saturday night and like it was really romantic, he held my hand and we jsut talked for like two hours. it was amazing. but hes a senior and im a sophomore. we really like eachother but im sooo worried about the age difference. like homecomming is comming up and i dont know if he will ask me or someone else bc of the age difference. this is really getting me worried...so please help.

if you like him, and he likes you then 2 years is nothing! age isn't a concern, unless you were 16 and he was 89.

it totally isnt weird! in fact it's probablyy very normal, most of my friendss are dating, or have dated older guys around 16 too. as long as you both like each other, then go for it! and if people talk smack, well that's their problem. just ignore what they have to say.

yeah i agree with jack, i think you should make him a scrapbook. it's something sentimental and you can't just buy it in the store, so it shows that you really care.

maybe you can try cooking one of his favorite meals, make it a date at your house, or somewhere. cook him his favorite meal and then the cookies will be for dessert, im sure he'd appreciate it. or you can just buy him something personal. like my ex once bought me a charm braclet with thespian masks on them because i am into theater and acting. i absolutley loved it because it showed that he really cared! try something like that, well no not the charm braclet haha but something that's personal and from the heart.

ok so my boyfriend and i have been together for a year on thursday (next week) and this is what we're going to do, but i wanted to know if it seems weird or anything...

we were gonna go out to dinner at our fave restaurant (don pablos) and go see a movie and get each gifts and stuff... but instead, we both just got back from a cruise, so time is dwindling down to go shopping, so we decided to do this: there's this place like 20 minutes from my house called 'the promenade shops at saucon valley' they have lots of stores, a red robins and some other smaller places to eat, and a movie theater. it's like an outdoor mall and is really cool. we were gonna go there and go to red robins, and catch a movie. but before eating and the movie, we were gonna go shopping for each other but together... like pick stuff out for each other, but together. for a few reasons, one cause we'll both be there so we'll be sure we like it, two cause it's alot easier, and its just more convienant. now is that weird or strange? i think it's okay but i just want some opinions =) THANKS ♥

by the way we're both 16 and he has his liscense but no car... but he can probably get one to use for the date lol

yeahp i agree with raychullx, to be a good girlfriend you have to be a good friend. just be there for him, when he needs you. you deffinitley have to trust him. show him you love him. BUTT don't be to clingy and needy, give him some space sometimes, he might want to hang out with the guys. just be yourself, because that's the person he likes. don't flirt with other guys and act like a slut. surprise him sometimes, with little stuff. just be yourself and im sure everything will be fine =].
