i'm kathryn, but i prefer to be called kay. i am 17 and i am a senior. i don't have the most exciting life, but i still have fun. my favorite colors are blue and pink. i am christian and I LOVE GOD. my boyfriends name is kyle. we've been dating for 10 months, almost 3 years on-and-off. i love photography. i want to go to college at Texas State with my best friend. i'm obsessed with stars and music.

giving advice is something i enjoy doing because it makes me feel like i'm doing something... alot of people have come to me so i feel as if i should be doing something else about it and thats partly why i have this advice column...

Ya theres many problems in life but one of the biggest is theres this girl. Who is so beautiful awsome loving caring and I cant stop thinking about her we use to spend a lot of time together but then she kinda just forgot about me i guess. I know people tell me to move on and im trying to but, people just dont understand how i feel i cant just give up on her and move on she meant the world to me and she still does and i cant stop thnking of her at nite during the day morning shes all i wanted in a girl and more but mostly i just miss her sooooo much and wish there was a way to go back in time when the two of us loved eachother! Its been a few months and i still cant stop thinking of her.. I know she doesent like me anymore cuz we never talk or do anything and shes doin pretty well in her dating life. But maybe one day something great will happen for the both of us. I can only hope!

Life is so twisted. When you feel that way about someone, it's love. And when your in love your feelings never change. I dont want you to think that you will never move on, because one day you will find someone else who is even more perfect for you. Just have faith that someone will come along who will feel the same to you as you do them. However, try to not let a girl do this to you. No one deserves to go through it so try and go out with different girls and i bet you you will find the perfect one. Just think of how much more life you still have for you and how long you have to fall in love again. I have to admit it doesnt come often, but it will come. I hope the best for you and i hope things get better.

yes i do... we just have to be patient for it to finally come around... were still SO young... there are alot of other things to worry about and that shouldnt be one of them... life's too good to stress out about it!

Ok its Lemontwist again, theres this guy hes a really good friend of mine and i really like him and people say he likes me, but im goin out wit joe and eddie (the other guy) likes this other girl in his band and he m/o wit her this weekend. Now im kinda mad at him and im not quite sure why. I think he new cause before she came to this christian rock concert we were at, we were together most of the time and he kept giving me hugs and gave me a piggy-back ride, but then when she came he gave me this fake weak smile and i knew that he knew i was upset.
So should i stay mad at him? although i have really nothing to be mad about.

ok im not trying to be rude, but i think its more of jealousy then you being mad at him. everyone has experienced it but we dont want to admit it. i think if you are getting jealous about it then i dont think your relationship with joe will last much longer. i've experienced all these things before so i know what you're going through. if you are thinking about other guys then joe isnt the one for you. just a suggestion but you might want to break up with joe before it gets too serious. plus it will let you feel free to flirt with eddie all you want and to try and get him to like you more. i think you would have been in the other girls position if you didnt have a boyfriend.

I am 14/m and extremly confused right now...There are two girls that I am very close with, they are practically twins (not by looks- intrests, thoughts, etc.) I have strong feelings for both of them. They both are extremly pretty, funny, smart, the works. The problem is I think one ,~Tara~, is starting to flirt with me while the other,*Laura*, has for almost a week.

Should I confront them about this? Or should I wait it out, or what?

dear Confused,
get some one on one time with them after school and try to go somewhere either with just a few friends or alone. i dont mean to go somewhere and make out with them, but just to go somewhere and talk alot. get to know them a little more. talk to them about it in person and see what they do. one of the best things to have in a relationship is honesty!

At like the middle of the school year, I noticed this guy who would always stare at me. I've totally fallen for him. He stares at me every day, and sometimes when I look back he has like a weird smile on his face. When ever I stand by him I can see him blushing. It's almost the end of school and I want to let him know that I like him. I'm really shy so if I could get my friends to help that would work out better. Any suggestions?

if he's doing all those things it's basically a dead give away that he likes you!!! just talk to him about it... prove that you can be bold and you can talk about those kind of things... just be flat out with it and let him know that you like him!!! things have GOT to work out and if it doesnt... let me know!!!!

Theres this guy that i like. All his friends thinks he likes me and i think he does too. But hes real shy about it and wont admit. Well last night his friend invited us all over and a couple of my girl friends came over. The guy i like lives right up the street and they called him to come over but he never showed. Then today he was supposed to come to a party but he never showed either but his friends went. Does this mean he doesnt want to see me or what?

it's never good to come to conclusions... so just think the best thoughts possible... but if you were to come to a conclusion... it's a 50/50 chance that he's just afraid that you dont like him that you like him, or that he might not like you as much as you do... just try and think the best and talk to him about it in person... its the best way to find out the truth

even though you play hard to get, you can still hug them and flirt with them. hug them and smile alot. you can still play hard to get by turning your head if they try to kiss you, but remember to smile!!! guys LOVE it when girls laugh and smile alot. play hard to get like you want to, but just remember to not be TO hard on them or they'll think that they will NEVER get you and you are just messing with their heads... they HATE that!

Hi, I have been talking to this guy online.....I really like him..he asked me out and I said yes. OMGOSH!!!! online relationships are REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY bad(most times)... unless you have seen a picture, have a friend who knows him, talked to him on the phone, etc the relationship won't last long. PLUS it SUCKS not being able to see him and spend time with him!!!

but if you REALLY like him... tell your friends... you will find out if they really are your friends are not... if they think its stupid and call you shit then you know that they aren't too great of friends... if they are concerned or if they are there for you then they ARE friends...

love is something you feel towards a person that you have never felt before. love is when you care about someone so much that you forget about everyone else in the owlrd and just focus on them. love is when you dont need to look at any other person and think about what it might be like with them. love is when you'd rather be with that person rather than with some other guy/girl. love is when you miss then as soon as they leave you for that night. love is when you sit by the phone and wait for them to call. love is when you never want to leave them. love is when you could never get mad at them. love is when you can't stand it when they are upset with you. love is when you regret having to turn down a day to see them and you promise to make it up to them. love is when a guy will go to a chick flick movie just so they can see you and be with you. love is when they say "i love you" out of the blue. love can be painful but great.
